November 2014

The fall season is wraping up now as the fish will be moving into their early winter patterns. I guess we had a typical fall on the lake. We had a typical crappy fishing around the turnover that this year seemed to linger forever. But before the turnover and after the turnover things have been just fine. White bass days were pretty good but later this year than most years. It was the very end of October for our best days even into November the white were doing fine. Bass are starting to bite the jerkbait more and more. The famous buzzbait bite is still going on but don't know how much longer into December it will last. The jig bite and A-rig is already working. Plus we had several good days on the local river chasing some smallmouth around. Wow we really caught some hogs! They were biting jigs or small soft craws on a texas rig. I love this time of the year cause hardly anyone is on the water fishing, everyone is in the deer woods chasing a big buck. I luckily shot a nice buck opening day so I am ready to get back on the water.
